We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our regional network of automated farms.

The Opportunity
This is a flexible, hybrid position perfect for a driven professional who loves agriculture, technology, and building relationships. You will work from your home office to manage leads and coordinate outreach, while spending time in the field visiting local dairy farms to understand their needs and present Lely solutions. Complete training on our product lineup and sales process will be fully provided.

Core Responsibilities
Sales & Client Outreach
• Lead Generation: Identify and connect with progressive dairy farmers in the region who can benefit from automated milking and feeding systems.
• Farm Consultations: Visit client farms to assess their current setups and present customized Lely technology solutions.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with local producers and industry partners.
• Pipeline Management: Follow up on inquiries, provide product information, and guide prospects through the decision-making process.
Event Availability
• Represent the company occasionally at regional agricultural trade shows or local farm open houses.

Position Requirements
• Sales Mindset: A strong drive to achieve results, excellent communication skills, and a professional, approachable demeanor.
• Licencing: A valid, clean Quebec or Ontario driver’s licence is mandatory for travel to client facilities.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required within our regional service area to meet with prospective clients.
• Technical Aptitude: Basic computer literacy, including software familiarity for managing customer relationships (CRM) and sales data.
• Physical Capability: Ability to meet the physical demands of active farm visits, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) when handling display materials or parts.
• Languages: Fluency in French is required; bilingualism in French and English is a significant asset for communicating with our diverse local customer base.
• Passion for Agriculture: While a direct sales background is preferred, a deep understanding of the dairy industry or a strong willingness to learn agricultural technology is our top priority.
