Nor-Arc Steel Fabricators requires an Licensed Mechanic Heavy Equipment/Truck and Coach.

Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
• Completion of secondary school
• Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic
• Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
• Understanding of computer testing technologies
• Ability to lift heavy machinery
• Fluent in English and French an asset
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Receive work orders for equipment
• Inspecting trucks, cranes and other heavy equipment for proper performance
• Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment
• Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
• Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles
• Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades and booms
• Performing major repair work when necessary
• Consulting with other mechanics if required
• Reporting damaged for faulty equipment to management
• Work in a safe manner by following all Ontario Health and Safety Regulations
• Perform other essential duties as required
Job Type & Salary: Full-time, Permanent. Salary Range – 70,000 – 85,000 and will commensurate with
qualifications and experiences
