experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This key leadership role offers the opportunity
to lead our financial strategy, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to the success of impactful
projects.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and
ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our accounting processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and provide
strategic financial insights. This role reports directly to senior leadership and plays a key part in supporting
the organization’s financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger,
and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Monitor and manage budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership to support decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt quickly to change.
• Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset.
