Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Agricultural Operations & Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily grain elevator activities and coordinate the movement of grain, trucks, and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth harvest flow, inbound and outbound logistics, and clear communication between farmers, carriers, and elevator staff.

The ideal candidate is bilingual, with strong reading and writing skills in both French and English.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee daily elevator operations including grain receiving, drying, grading, and storage

·       Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of grain, feed, and seed

·       Dispatch transport equipment, maintain delivery timelines, and monitor load statuses

·       Communicate with producers, carriers, and internal staff to optimize scheduling

·       Assist with inventory tracking, scale operation, and shipping documentation

·       Maintain safety protocols and ensure equipment and facilities are clean and operational

·       Support seasonal tasks such as harvest intake, blending, and bin management

Qualifications

·       Experience in agricultural operations, grain handling, or logistics is preferred

·       Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

·       Computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, inventory software)

·       Valid driver’s license; AZ/DZ license is an asset

·       Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons

·       Bilingual in French and English is an asset

·       Team-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency
