Compensation & Benefits Information
· Rate of pay ranges from: $31.11 per hour to $32.45 per hour as per SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

· Percent in lieu and vacation percent pay up to 18%, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement
Job Summary:
The OR Ward Clerk plays a vital administrative and clerical role in supporting the operating room team. They are responsible for maintaining efficient communication, documentation, and coordination within the surgical unit, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety.
Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent plus related experience
- Bilingualism (French and English) mandatory
- Ward Clerk certificate is an asset
- Demonstrates competent clerical skills
- Working knowledge of medical terminology (essential)
- Demonstrates computer knowledge and acceptable level of keyboarding proficiency
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all members of the health care team
- Ability to manage work to meet deadlines thereby establishing priorities and completing assignments on time
- Demonstrates regular attendance at work
- Other duties as assigned
