We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in meat cutting and food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in providing our customers with fresh, expertly prepared meat products while maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform meat cutting tasks including slicing, trimming, and packaging various cuts of meat.
• Ensure all meat products meet quality standards and are prepared according to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area in compliance with health codes.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels of meat products and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations on meat selections.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and maintain workflow efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience in meat cutting or butchery within the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
