Laborer / Stone Polisher / Milling Assistant

Full-time | In-Shop Position

Lauzon Stoneworks is a growing stone countertop fabrication shop serving Northern Ontario. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to join our production team as a Laborer / Stone Polisher / Milling Assistant. This is a hands-on, physically active role supporting the fabrication of quartz, granite, and porcelain countertops.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day fabrication of stone countertops

• Operate hand tools, grinders, polishers, and shop equipment (training provided)

• Help with polishing edges and finishing surfaces to a high standard

• Assist the CNC operator with milling prep, labeling, material handling, and staging

• Load/unload slabs and move materials within the shop

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe

• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy

• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE at all times

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs regularly

• Comfortable working in a wet, noisy, active shop environment

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

• Experience with tools, construction, or fabrication is an asset but not required

• Valid driver’s licence is an asset

• Own transportation required to our location
  

• Ability to work well with a small team and follow instructions

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
