About the Role
As our CNC Programmer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing CNC programs for milling and sawing operations. You’ll work with Fanuc controls, advanced CAD/CAM software, and modern machining tools to ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality production. This role directly supports our mission to deliver industry-leading craftsmanship in every project.
Responsibilities

Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and lathes using Fanuc or similar controls

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models (SolidWorks or similar)

Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes

Perform machine calibration, tool selection, and changeovers

Conduct accurate quality checks using calipers and measurement tools

Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machine issues to reduce downtime

Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements

Support assembly processes when needed

Follow all shop safety protocols, including welding, forklift operation, and machine safety
Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc controls required)

Strong mechanical knowledge and machining experience

Experience with Easystone and CAD software is an asset

Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Solid math skills and understanding of machining tolerances

Hands-on experience with machining tools (calipers, hand tools, power tools)

Familiarity with welding equipment and forklifts is an advantage

Knowledge of CNC milling, CNC lathe operation, and assembly techniques
